The old pension Tamariu, built in the 50s, was transformed into five small and nice apartments close to the beach and surrounded by nature and outdoor areas. They are very well located just 50-60 meters from the sea and very quiet, which is rare this close to the beach! We have done our best to make the apartments and its communal garden, cozy and comfortable spaces for those of you who wish to come visit Tamariu and explore the beautiful sights around.

An old stone staircase will lead you from the apartments directly to the beach and Passeig del Mar, the seafront boulevard, where we can enjoy many delicious typical food from the area.

In particular, this apartment is on the 2nd floor of the building, just 50 meters from the beach. It has SPECTACULAR views of the sea and the bay, and so much sunlight.
The kitchen is integrated in the dining area, with the living room next to it. You walk by the terrace to enter the apartment. The apartment has a queen size bedroom with a very large closet and a window that faces the terrace. The sofa-bed, located in the living room, is suitable for young people to sleep as it is queen sized.

The apartment is fully equipped with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. It has a terrace for private use and a garden that is shared with the other apartments of the building. This apartment has sea views from the windows in the living area and it has much light and fresh air.

The garden is communitary and can be enjoyed by everybody, apart from the table placed next to the apartment on the lower floor.

The house is located in the best part of Tamariu, on the second row of houses from the sea, where tranquility reigns despite being a few steps from the beach. It's privileged garden makes it a unique place. The temperature is very pleasant in summer, thanks to the pine trees that separate it from the sea and provide some shade. At the entrance of the apartment there is a small cosy terrace area, ideal for reading outside in the fresh evening.

The management and care of the apartments is very casual and familial. As a young and vibrant company, we work every day with joy to expand our community of Easy Travelers, and to share experiences with people from all over the world.

Community garden

Tamariu:
Tamariu is an old beach town within Palafrugell’s Municipality, where until a few years ago fishing was the main activity. Over the years it has become a place of great tourist attraction, especially for its unique nature and coastline cliffs.
There are two supermarkets in Tamariu, ten restaurants and bars, a hairdresser, couple bakeries, a few boutiques where to buy utensils and beachwear stuff... There is also a diving center, a kayak rental place and a boat rental agency. On Saturday night, during the summer season, there are usually different types of music on the Boulevard. Music styles that go from "Havaneres" to "Disco" music. Bars and restaurants don't stay open until late. Tamariu is a place that is focussed on families. There is only one bar of La Riera that remains open until after 1 am.
Some great old traditions are still celebrated in town, such as celebrations like: Sta. Maria on August 15th, "sardinadas" or popular "garoinadas", Las Fiestas de Primavera de Palafrugell, La festa dels Indianos of Begur, Mercat Boig of Llafranc, etc ...

Transportation:
We recommend coming by car to Tamariu for your best convenience. In case you do, there is a very economical parking located in the pine forest when entering Tamariu.

Comments:
- If you wish to sleep separately, it is important to advise before or while making the reservation. In any case, at least 3 days before your arrival. Depending on the variation it implies, it may be charged separately (12€/set)
- City Tax is 1,10€ per person and day.
- We work with a self check-in system via our mobile application! In any case, we are available through the contact phone number for anything that could happen during your stay.
- Check-in is possible after 15h.
- Sheets and towels (shower) are provided for the amount of guests indicated in the reservation. Any extra set (towels or sheets) is 10€.
- Beach towels are not provided
- The cleaning fee covers the final cleaning at the end of your stay
- A baby crib can be provided on request and subject to availability. It has an extra cost of 5€ per night.
- PARTIES are STRICTLY FORBIDDEN
- It is STRICTLY FORBIDDEN to SMOKE in any part of the apartment
- It is possible to park free of charge along to the road of the apartment from October to June only. During the rest of the year this is not possible. There are other parking options (paid & unpaid) available in Tamariu.
- On the day of departure, it is important for you to wash your dishes, take the garbage away (there are public containers on Tamariu's main road and on La Riera), turn off all lights and electric devices, leave the keys on the dining table and close the door behind you when you walk out.

Location was excellent and cleanliness of apartment was also great. It is a very well presented apartment which was perfect for what we needed. It would have been nice if a few more basics were provided with the apartment, i.e. kettle, coffee for the coffee machine. I noticed that the apartment next door had these things but ours did not. However, overall our stay was lovely!

Appartement agréable et bon emplacement

Appartement conforme à l'annonce, des espaces agréables, bien équipé et un emplacement proche du port tout en restant en retrait de l'agitation des bars et du port. Quelques inconvénients : literie molle, mauvaise isolation acoustique, parking dans la rue peu pratique.

Schöner Urlaub in schöner Umgebung

+Wir haben einen angenehmen Familienurlaub hier verbracht. +Der Vermieter ist sehr bemüht und ist auf unsere Extra Wünsche eingegangen ( wir hätten das Appartement nach einer Woche für die zweite Woche wechseln müssen u der Vermieter hat sich mit unserem Nachfolger in Verbindung gesetzt u uns somit ermöglicht im Appartement zu bleiben). Somit hat er uns auch nur einmal Endreinigung berechnet. +Appartement ist mit Ikea Möbeln zweckmäßig, aber mit Charme eingerichtet, einige Küchenutensilien könnte man noch aufstocken +/-Appartement ist nur über eine Treppe mit vielen Stufen zu erreichen, ebenso der Strand. - pro Wohnung gibt es nur einen Satz Schlüssel, somit ist es immer etwas schwierig mehrere Familienmitglieder zu koordinieren. Wir werden aber mit Sicherheit wiederkommen, um wieder einen schönen Urlaub hier zu verbringen..

A great view to sea and perfect space for a couple

Lovely weekend spent on the Costa Brava. The apartment is in a perfect spot overlooking Tamariu bay and has all the amenities needed for a couple. It is relatively expensive for its quality but you pay for the location. The key collection is triggered through an application which could have been made clearer, however, the manager of the property expertly helped me figure it all out.

Vistas espectaculares

Apartamento cerquísima de la playa, muy equipado. Lo que más destaca son las vistas que tiene desde el comedor. Lo encontramos muy limpio. Es fresco, nosotros estuvimos en agosto y no pasamos mucho calor. La persona de contacto siempre está disponible y es muy amable. Puedes pedir aparcamiento allí mismo.

Estancia agradable

Apartamento agradable, con vistas al mar desde el salón y cocina bastante bien equipada. En general estaba todo muy limpio y estuvimos a gusto. Era una pena que las vistas desde la terraza queden impedidas por las escaleras. En ese sentido apetecía más estar dentro... En cuanto al acceso, no es demasiado cómodo ya que hay muchas escaleras, pero para una persona sin ningún impedimento, está bien. Respecto a dónde dejar el coche, aparcamos 3 días en la misma calle del alojamiento y no nos multaron, pero nos avisó una vecina de que habitualmente pasa la policía y multa. Únicamente pueden aparcar ahí los residentes. El resto han de aparcar en un parquing hacia las afueras. La ubicación está muy bien. Tamariu es precioso. Lo único malo es que en verano está demasiado masificado.

Toujours aussi bien !

La vue de notre appartement (Tamariu 3) était juste incroyable, un vrai bonheur pour les yeux ! Seules petites remarques : - Quand on est là que pour 4 jours, c'est dommage de ne pas nous laisser juste 3 rouleaux de papier toilette... On a dû en acheter 12 ! - Les condiments à disposition un peu pareil : quasi plus de sel ni d'huile d'olive, et l'ail en poudre était figé par l'humidité. - les travaux dans l'appartement au-dessus, dès 7h30-08h, c'est pas cool quand on est en vacances ;-) A part cela c'était parfait, comme toujours !
